What is a Landstar agent?
Landstar agents are independent agencies that sell and arrange freight transportation through the Landstar network. As a freight agent with Landstar Agency AFG, I'm your direct contact, while your freight moves with Landstar's network of independent owner-operators and approved carriers.
What information do you need for a freight quote?
Pickup and delivery locations, the pickup date, the equipment you need if you know it, weight, commodity, and any special requirements such as hazmat, food grade or oversize. Send what you have through the quote form, by email or on WhatsApp, and I'll follow up on anything missing.
What kinds of freight can you move?
Truckload and LTL, flatbed and step deck, heavy haul and specialized, emergency and expedited, rail intermodal, and air and ocean freight forwarding. I also handle hazardous materials, food and beverage loads under FSMA, and freight that moves under TSA security requirements.
Do you ship to and from Canada and Mexico?
Yes. Through the Landstar network I arrange freight across North America, including shipments in and out of Canada and Mexico by truck and by rail.
Can you move hazardous materials?
Yes. HAZMAT is one of my certifications. Hazmat loads are booked with hazmat-endorsed drivers, correct shipping papers and Landstar's safety standards.
